About the event
The Blue Dahlia Gala is a black-tie awards evening honoring leaders who have devoted their lives to the care of people living with dementia and to advancing the field, from prevention and timely diagnosis to treatment pathways and care delivery. At the center of the program is the Polly Fellowship in Dementia Innovation, a funded honor awarded to a physician, scientist, or clinical team whose work demonstrates clear, measurable impact. We also present the Polly Laureate (Lifetime Contribution to Dementia Science), alongside one additional recognition spotlighting either Clinical Impact or Translational Breakthrough.
Proceeds are directed to what moves the field forward now: physician training and fellowships, community brain-health education, ensuring evidence becomes practice and families benefit sooner.
The evening is designed to be focused and elegant: arrival portraits and conversation, a seated dinner, a concise awards program, a curated silent auction, and live music.
